working in a construction company to gain experience for real estate developing career?

i am 20 years old an interested in a career in real estate.is getting internship in a construction company going to be beneficial in achieving my goals?i am studying for a degree in accounts and economics.it is no way related to real estate,therefore would you suggest i do another degree in construction managent or real estate management?
