Embracing change
by admin on Jun.21, 2010, under Personal, Professional
From time to time everything must change. This is true whether we like it or not. Some people do better than others when it comes to change. I personally think it is best to embrace change and learn to adapt to it rather than try to fight against it. Fighting against it will only bring you more harm than good. It’s like trying to row your boat upstream. It is better to guide your boat to a more favorable spot downstream rather than using up your precious energy trying to defeat the rushing blast of life’s waters.
Adapting to change can arm you better against the turbulent tides of the economy and the job market. Fortunate is the one who can see opportunity within disaster. Stagnation is death. If we are to live, we must seek to evolve and incorporate change into our lives.
Change is the very thing that has inspired this post. I have recently taken ownership of this blog and I intend to make a few changes to bring in a wider range of beneficial information to help improve the lives of it’s readers. I invite you to make comments, join in discussions, and bring helpful content. I am open to suggestions for changes to the site as well. Please feel free to give me your input or ideas of other major life improving topics that we could include here for the benefit of all. This blob has been mainly focused around career development, but I would like to broaden this to life development.
Please feel free to register as a user of this blob or remain anonymous in your interactions here. I do ask that we keep things pleasant. I gladly invite all types of discussion from pleasant chit-chat to heated debates, but I do want to avoid useless and hateful comments or posts. I am all for free speech, but anything can be conveyed in a gentle manner. All I ask is that we keep it decent here. I look forward to watching this blog grow.
Until next time, take care.
