Alternative career opportunities with a Masters in Education?

by admin on Jun.09, 2010, under Career Opportunities

I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction/ Education with a 4.0 GPA from an accredited university. I also have a bachelors in Education and experience as a teacher and teacher trainer in public schools. I am looking to for other career opportunities outside of the public schools. I could get my educational leadership degree and go into administration, however, I’m not really interested in this avenue. I could also work on my PhD in education and become a professor or work in developing standardized tets or measuring devices for such tests. What could I do in the business field? What else could I do? What should I do? How much time, effort, and money will this take? Any ideas?
Details: I currently have two young children. I’m in my late twenties. I live in Flordia. I am married and it would be difficult to move somewhere in another state due to his job, but not impossible.
